Conference Venue
The Convention will be hosted by the European Space Agency at ESRIN establishment. Thanks to this hospitality,
we hope to achieve a friendly atmosphere as in the previous staging of the
school, which enabled fruitful exchanges of ideas among participants. The Convention will be held in the pleasant atmosphere of the historic
city of Frascati (near Rome, Italy).
Frascati is famous for its high quality wines, exquisite cuisine, cordial
hospitality, many villas and parks distributed throughout its territory,
and for its pleasant summer weather. How to reach ESRIN Train - From Rome Take the train from
Termini station to Cassino and get off at Tor Vergata. This stop is
approximately 50 metres from ESRIN. - From Fiumicino airport More expensive option: Taxi Official taxis are
yellow or white. If taking a taxi from Fiumicino airport it is advisable
to agree on the fare with the driver in advance, this should not
exceed Euro 65.00. © SCIE 2002
Take the airport express train to Rome
Termini station (around Euro 7.50). From Rome Termini take the train for
Cassino and get off at Tor Vergata, which is 50 metres from ESRIN.
Less expensive option:
At the airport take the train for Fara
Sabina, at Roma Ostiense take the metro B to Roma Termini station and
from there take the train to Cassino and get off at Tor Vergata.
The
whole trip, with an integrated train-metro ticket available at the
airport, costs around Euro 5.
The ESRIN Centre is in Frascati, near the FIAT Iveco dealer
on Via E. Fermi, in the "Area di Ricerca" (Research
Area).
